Dawn is breaking...

Today ( hmmm midnight ...) I head back for home....after gruelling hours on road and neck burried under mound of paper and notes and lap top......I look up at sun and say -

"I soak up the sun.."

This city never lets a bad weather stay for long....we had such good spate of sunshine...all these 4 days. Such a change from a early week's grummy grey, demantarish weather....!
One of our friend picked us up for a ride to city.....which was so fun, we went to crazy crookesdest street...Harley store ( yeah such amazing mean machines they have), and then last stop to Artist shop to pick my supply of calligraphy pens/ brushes and lovely shades of inks.

Will post the pics of my purchase...very soon....as soon as I touch home!!

Surprise for the day :-)

- Last evening while coming back from work, on a busy road -I found this shot...it was so entertaining. The Buffalo had such serene expression ...guzzling away to glory...not paying any attention to stupid honking and vehicles whizzing from side....!
- I wish I could be like buffalo...not letting anything affect me....hein....!

Ahaan...(big loud sigh).....

On this V day......I am just getting ODied on all the mush stuff....!! All the bloggers are writing about this day.....and so much so even all the websites have showers of hearts......(?????) & last day for selling flowers....and ensuring guaranteed delivery.
I just sort of wrote a comment and guess what even the word verification was in "Red color" ( much brighter then usual Red which appears...swear m not making up this...)

Last year I was in "Original ideas" mood so I got CACTUS for my friend....seriously....I am still awaiting Thank You Note......( hmmm.....)

Its just tongue in cheek.... :-)

A day trip to Jaipur

- I love this type of art which you find at the back of the trucks....( may be kitsch...) I try to imagine what goes in a mind of the owner when they want their trucks to have such bright scenes painted . Beside the painting...some of the sentences written are so corny....and one can deduce a lot about the people those who are travelling from Himalaya to Kanyakumari....
Are they born romantics, die hard survivors, missing their family....Nomads.....???

Would love to travel this way ( I have done but only for few hours....I think it will be a whole lot different if I have to live for few months....)

- HollyHock - This varitey really grows very well in desert/arid area......when I took the close up I was chasing that bee ( on RHC floral of this pic...by the time I cliked bee was gone.....I am still looking .....lol.... :-)

I just love going to Jaipur....the sun, people and color...so tempting...I don't mind the hardships attached to these day trips....!

Rumblings....n nothing much...!

As a rule I don't even like to talk about my work...and infact this rumbling is not about work...!

- I found this attachment very hilarious which was circulating in our work environ....these days. How apt - we are over with our appraisals. All ok its easy to fudge....so find "New Targets"
- However BEST news is I have 11 days left from my annual leave....OMG...OMG...I am jumping and can't contain my happiness....& I am suppose to spend all these 11 days before March end....Yippie....!
- Mountains / beaches....hold on....I am coming....!

ps - all of us have given out 2 months planning in advance....( this is the first ever in our work place....generally we are "Non Compliance regular flier"in that deptt....lol....
