3 Things which I really look forward to when I am back home -1) My Mom's cooking.
2) My brat of a niece giving me huge hug ( pls read strangulating me 1/2 to death) becos she is so happy to see me !
She is the only one !
3) Honking on the road....lol...well I have developed those nerve of steel ( buffalo) for what???

You lucky guy! Maybe you can forward us some samplings your mother's cooking? I once had a neighbor (British, with Indian husband) who cooked the most delicious Indian food. Still remember the smells that wafted from her kitchen, and her fried little empanadas (sorry, don't recall the Indian name), filled with potatoes and spices so fragrant, I've never encountered any Indian cooking half as good as hers.
I wished I knew If there is any authentic Indian cooking going on here in Vienna.
Welcome home !! Mom's cooking is always best even if it is a simple 'Khichdi'.
